I received a call from the love of my life just a few minutes before his plane was ready to leave JFK. His voice was so good to hear. I have been in this place before. I am excited that he is heading out again to do the Lord’s work. But his work comes at a cost.
We are so close. We will miss each other. The ride to the airport this morning was quite. I would look at him as he drove, trying to memorize how he looked, I would reach out and touch his hand. It was a precious moment in our lives. He is such a great husband, I am blessed to have him in my life.
His work is so vital to so many. I know right now there are many who wait for his arrival in Tanzania. They have been praying for him for so long. They hunger for the education that they will receive and this education will help them in their ministry. I spoke yesterday with my friends from Kenya. My husband has worked with their people for several years and his work has impacted this entire region of Kenya. Praise be to God!
So I wait for his contact. That should be sometime after midnight. He will text me from Dubai.
Lord I pray for safe travels for my husband, Amen!

I just heard from my wonderful hubby, the love of my life. He has landed safely in New York and is waiting to board his next plane to Dubai. I hope to talk to him one more time after he boards his plane. It is hard not to hear his voice for over a month.
He will text me when he lands in Dubai! Thank your Lord for Texting!!!
I pray that God our Father blesses this journey.
